Jay was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Currently, he is a general manager for an internal corporate food service location. Always striving to find unique ways to make money, Jay has been a rising entrepreneur since middle school. There he sold candy; then in high school, other popular snacks. Moving forward in life, Jay has built up several business ventures for corporate companies. In 2005, when Geauga Lake’s Wildwater Kingdom was introduced, he was promoted to set up several food service stands and to build his team of staff from bottom, up. In 2009, Jay was given another opportunity to set up a new business: a healthy store concept for a major corporate company in Cleveland. Today Jay is a General Manager for contracted food service accounts with AVI Food Systems. He is looking to expand his position within his company and move forward in life to another state soon. Jay became interested in the theme park industry in 1995, when Roller Coaster Tycoon was released. Since then, he has built 3 different models: a Knex model amusement park in 2002, a complex and thriving model theme park in 2006, and a model water park in 2008. The Knex park was dismantled in 2003; however his other two masterpiece models still operate today at his living space in Ohio. The main website of Ultima S-Cape is www.modelthemepark.com. The main website of Hydro Island is www.modelwaterpark.com. If you would like to set up a tour date and visit the models, contact us at visitus@jecmodels.com. You may contact Jay directly at jay@modelthemepark.com. Ultima S-Cape and Hydro Island are currently located in Wickliffe, OH. |
